Nick gained a degree in music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and completed the Opera Course where he played Albert in Albert Herring and Vakula in Tchaikovsky’s Cherevichki. He studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, London and more recently at The Met Film School at The Ealing Film Studios where he completed the Advanced Acting for Film course. As an actor roles include Stanley Kowalski A Streetcar Named Desire, Val Xavier Orpheus Descending, Heathcliffe Wuthering Heights, Romeo Romeo and Juliet and Frank Churchill / Mr Weston Emma

As a singer, film and television work includes BBC’s multi award winning Flashmob The Opera in which he starred as Mike and Neil Armstrong in Jonathan Dove's Man on the Moon screened on Channel 4. He has appeared regularly on Friday Night is Music Night on BBC Radio 2 and In Tune on BBC Radio 3 and at Wembley for the BBC.

At Opera Holland Park Nick performed the roles of Nadir Les Pêcheurs de Perles, Camille The Merry Widow and Raffaele Stiffelio. For English Touring Opera he has sung Don José Carmen, Macduff Macbeth, Don Ottavio Don Giovanni and The Earl of Leicester in Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda.

With Scottish Opera on Tour he has performed the roles of Rodolfo La Bohème and Don Ramiro La Cenerentola.
Nick has also performed Rodolfo with Diva Opera for whom he has sung Paris La Belle Hélène and Pluton Orphée aux Enfers.

Engagements have also included Nemorino L'Elisir d'amore, Camille and Forresto Attila for Lyric Opera Ireland and Rodolfo La Bohème for Lyric Opera and The Opera Project, Pinkerton Madama Butterfly with Co-Opera Ireland, Il Duca Rigoletto for Mid Wales Opera, The Opera Project and Lyric Opera Ireland, Ferrando Cosi fan tutte for Stowe Opera, Count Almaviva, The Barber of Seville for Cork Opera 2005 and Cavaradossi Tosca for Central Festival Opera and London City Opera. He played Borsa in Jonathan Miller’s acclaimed English National Opera production of Rigoletto, broadcast live on Channel 4 and Gastone in David McVicar's production of La Traviata for Scottish Opera.

.Nick’s work has taken him all over the world including Don José Carmen for the Columbia Artists USA tour. Nick created the role of The Doctor in Ligea by Reed-Thomas for the Spoleto Festival, Italy and toured extensively as Cavaradossi for European Chamber Opera in the Middle East and South East Asia.

Nick has sung in many of the leading concert venues throughout U.K. He has regularly performed with BBC Concert Orchestra and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and venues have included The Barbican Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, National Concert Hall in Dublin and Sala Sinopoli, Parco della Musica, Rome where Nick performed Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings with the Orchestra di Roma e del Lazio. Nick has also appeared with Katherine Jenkins in A Prom in the Park and in Battleproms 2008 throughout the UK.


On the Oratorio platform Nick has performed many major works including Bach Magnificat, St John Passion and Mass in B Minor, Beethoven Missa Solemness, 9th Symphony and Mass in C, Dvorak Stabat Mater, Handel Messiah, Samson and Israel in Egypt, Haydn Creation, Harmoniemesse, Nelson Mass and Mass in D minor, Howells Hymnus Paradisi, Janacek Glagolitic Mass, Mozart Requiem, Coronation Mass and Mass in C Minor, Orff Carmina Burana, Puccini Messa di Gloria, Rossini Stabat Mater and Petite Messe Solennelle, Tippet A Child of Our Time, Verdi Requiem and Mendelssohn Elijah with Sir Willard White at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
